Studies have shown that Red Rice Yeast lowers blood levels of cholesterol and triglycerides and helps improve blood circulation.
• Red yeast rice has been shown to have the benefits of cholesterol-lowering activities, as it contains lovastatin (a HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor which inhibits cholesterol synthesis in the body). Red yeast rice is likely to be able to directly impact the process of atherosclerosis consequently, it may carry the benefits of cardiovascular diseases. 

Commiphora Mukul (Guggul) 穆库尔

• Guggul is a yellowish resin, which is secreted by a small, thorny mukul myrrh tree called commiphora mukul.
• Guggul possesses strong disinfecting properties and is a weight loss and fat burning agent.
• It lowers elevated serum cholesterol and triglycerides, while maintaining or improving the HDL to LDL ratio.
• The herb reduces the risk of coronary artery disease.

Kionutrime-Cs

 

• Produced from cell walls of the mycelium of a non-genetically modified fungi (Aspergillus niger).
• Kionutrime-Cs acts as potent fat binder. In fact, it can bind over 600 times its own weight in fat in vitro, Kionutrime-Cs interacts with lipidic compounds like biliary and fatty acids and reduces their intestinal absorption. In turn, decreases total cholesterol, triglycerides and LDL-cholesterol and by increases HDL-cholesterol.
• Kionutrime-Cs prevents fat storage in the liver and muscle. It provides a feeling of fullness and prevents the occurrence of being overweight, obesity and metabolic syndrome.

• Pine bark extract is made from the bark of the maritime pine tree (Pinus pinaster), which contains naturally occurring chemicals called proanthocyanidins, a special class of water-soluble antioxidant flavonoids, which are excellent free radical scavengers.
• Like other antioxidants, proanthocyanidins prevent the oxidation of LDL cholesterol.  When LDL cholesterol becomes oxidized it forms plaques on the interior of the arterial walls and that causes heart disease.  It also prevents blood platelets from sticking together and forming clots. 
• Pine bark extract also helps to reduce your risk of heart disease. A combination of pine bark extract and coenzyme Q10 may improve blood flow and general heart health in heart failure patients.

• Grape seed extract contains one of the richest sources of oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC's).
• It is the fact that OPC’s can improve your vision, the flexibility of your joints, the health of your arteries and body tissues (such as the heart) and also strengthen capillaries and veins to improve your circulatory system.
• This is important because the health of your circulatory system affects the health of your heart. It seems that grape seed extract prevents the oxidation of low density lipoproteins, the fats that are responsible for “bad cholesterol”.

• Green tea in the fact it is rich in catechin polyphenols, particularly epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG).
